Since the old ages, women have been considered to be a highly sophisticated creature. They have always been considered for household works and for men’s pleasure. They were not allowed to venture out in open and work for themselves. This has been considered an insult to the male ego. They were debarred from many public institutions until recently.
Except for one or two countries they have almost no representation in either parliament or congress. This is a reality even for today. In some Muslim countries they are asked to wear Prada in order to prevent other person from seeing them. They are long considered to be the property of their respective family.
So when the question of women drivers arises many people get shocked. They are not considered even for driving. Their efficiency is not an issue but this is seen as infringement over the rights of male community. It is because for a long time driving has been considered to be the area, expertise of male only. No females were ever allowed.
So when the women venture into this area they don’t get approval. Lately women have excelled in almost any field. They are working side by side men, even excelled from them. They are leading men in any area be it science, technology, arts. They don’t fear men anymore.
Women drivers are more efficient than men. Many disagree with this but the women think otherwise. They say that may be the case is women are not good drivers but men are no good either. They themselves are so poor performer.
They are almost always caught by the traffic police over this kind of incident like drunken driving, rash driving, and damage to the property while driving etc. but this has not prevented women to pursue it as a career. They are excelling in this area too. For them only sky is the limit.
Car manufacturers are also banking over this new trend. They have known that the business related to the men is saturated now. Any one can point out the car which a man would buy. So this has left car owners with no option. Recently women are their new potential customer. So they are wooing them with their all capacity.
Insurance companies have launched some cheap car insurance for women. Hence it is a win-win situation for women. They are being given at low interest rates. They can now simply go into shop with no money and come out with a brand new car.
